Celebrating Our 'Outstanding' Sister Schools

Our sister schools' 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings not only benefit the schools and their communities, but also everyone within The Futures Trust family, who will benefit from this ‘Outstanding’ expertise.

Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),

Celebrating Outstanding Ofsted Ratings Within Our Trust Community

As a part of The Futures Trust family of schools, we are in the privileged position to work hand in hand with a vast network of colleagues from truly remarkable schools across Coventry and Warwickshire. All schools within the trust are dedicated to Building Brighter Futures for their young people and share the same values as us – ‘Students First, It’s About Learning, No Barriers’. It is this shared focus that drives us forward in a continuous effort to improve and evolve for the benefit of our community.

I am incredibly proud to write to you celebrating the achievements of two of our sister schools, Barr’s Hill and President Kennedy, who have both been rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted in the last four months. These ratings not only benefit the schools and their communities, but also us, who will benefit from this ‘Outstanding’ expertise. This partnership will allow us to move one step closer to our ambition of following in their footsteps.

Barr’s Hill – Rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted
Quotations from the Barr’s Hill Ofsted report, March 24:

  • Barr’s Hill School transforms the life chances of pupils.
  • Pupils have the confidence and reassurance needed to overcome stereotypes and believe the   sky really is the limit. One pupil summed this up beautifully, ‘the school teaches us that we can transform our lives.’

President Kennedy – Rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted
Quotations from the President Kennedy’s Ofsted report, Dec 23:

  • Pupils are proud and happy to be a part of this inclusive and  diverse school where they excel both academically and personally.
  • Pupils behave impeccably and live up to the high expectations that the school has.
  • The caring nature and positive relationships between pupils of all ages, and staff is, what makes this school such a special place to be

I have seen first-hand how hard our colleagues in these schools have worked to gain this well-deserved recognition. I hope you will join me in congratulating the staff and students of our sister schools on their remarkable achievements.

Kind regards,

Lisa Hickman,
Headteacher
